Required immediately, our Kent Branch is seeking Full time FABRICATOR for both day/night shifts
Desired Skills & Experience
Experienced in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz an asset
Highly experienced in cutting and templating large blocks of natural stones to fit the exact dimensions of the installation area
Experience using grinders and polishers an asset
Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented
Basic computer skills, MS office
Have the ability to read units of measurements
Demonstrate knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
Strong communication (both written and verbal)
Duties and Responsibilities
File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to confirm to templates, other parts and layouts, or blueprint specifications
Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
Unload/Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters.
Other duties as assigned
