Production Associate Calhoun, GA Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train production associates who will play an important role. In this role, associates will gain diverse work experiences and exposure to multiple areas of manufacturing. We’re looking for individuals who are ambitious, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem solving. We are currently looking to fill 2nd and 3rd shift openings. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary. Training is provided for all entry-level roles. Positions Considered
Creeler – places spools onto holders (creels) to feed yarn into carpet manufacturing (tufting) machines. No experience is required. Creeler Operator – helps relieve the carpet manufacturing operator, mends yarn, and replaces empty spools of yarn. Some experience helpful. Tufting Operator – runs carpet manufacturing machines (tufting), ensures high quality carpet production and a safe work environment. No experience required. Qualifications
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and push repetitively; typical requirements include lifting, reaching, pulling, and pushing. May need to climb ladders and stairs depending on the position. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Benefits
