2nd Shift - Plant Operator Luck Companies is looking for an experienced Plant Maintenance Operator to join its Pittsboro Plant for the 2nd shift (1:30‑10:30). Plant Operators monitor crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, and bins to maximize production and provide quality products. With safety as a top priority, much of the role focuses on ensuring equipment and machinery remain in top‑notch condition through hands‑on maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance: changing screens, greasing, changing rollers, belt splices, rebuilding crushers, welding, and fabrication (a bonus).

Consistently inspect and monitor plant to ensure proper operation.

Assist with other site projects as requested.

Prioritize safety throughout operation for self and others.

Aid coworkers to keep the site clean and organized at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

Prior experience (1 year) preferred operating and/or performing maintenance in a similar environment.

Mechanically inclined.

Basic computer skills.

Welding a plus.

Must have a team‑oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.

Benefits

Competitive hourly pay (biweekly). The position starts at $24.38 per hour plus shift differential, with potential increases based on experience assessment.
