Salary: $2074 / Week The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable. Shift – Days or Nights | 36 hours Notes – 13 Week contract, options of extending, full time position, RN Psychiatric
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric/mental health nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for individuals, families, and communities as applicable.
Coordinate patient care across settings, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support prevention, education, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse licensure in-state practicing
Current CPR certification (BLS)
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Certifications: RN, BLS
