Position Summary
Mobile Therapist provides individual and family therapy to children and supports families in managing mental health or behavior problems. The role is part‑time or full‑time with a highly flexible schedule and may allow work in other agencies.
Summary of Essential Position Functions
Provide weekly individual and family therapy interventions to clients and families using evidence‑based or evidence‑informed practices.
Collaborate with team members.
Complete all paperwork within policy time frames.
Initiate and attend treatment team meetings monthly with child, family, and treatment team.
Attend interagency meetings.
Provide services within the authorized number of hours per week.
Attend staff meetings and comply with all IBHS policies.
Attend 16 hours of training per year plus mandatory trainings as required.
Participate in the Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluation/Re‑Evaluation/Addendum by providing pertinent clinical information (direct reports, clinical reviews, functional behavioral assessments, completed structured assessment tools, and updated goals, objectives, and interventions).
Attend supervision with a licensed psychologist one hour per month (if not already under supervision).
Travel to and from client sites to perform services (100% travel required).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has potential for clinical supervision.
