Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing OT programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, working to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patient needs, enjoy varied settings, collaborate with peers, and refer when necessary, ensuring patients and families receive the highest quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.

Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
