Ability to work and communicate with all patients, family members, physicians, and employee and follow directions of the circulating RN
Maintain physical and mental health and have neat, well-groomed appearance
Have ability to function well in stressful situations
Demonstrates commitment to patients and co-workers by maintaining regular attendance and punctuality, safe environment, mandatory hospital and professional education, and have self-motivation
Effective Listening skills

Exhibits professional skill and working knowledge of all routine diagnostic, special angiography and interventional procedures and equipment
Able to produce, manipulate, and develop computer aided imaging devices
Participates in on-going in-service education and attends departmental meetings as requested or required for any and all governing bodies
Responsible for ordering and stocking supplies as needed to perform all procedures at appropriate levels
Must possess a working knowledge of the CPCS and Cath Lab computer systems
Assures completeness of patient care by the end of the shift as additionally evidenced by lack of end of shift overtime
Able to assist physicians with procedures having all materials ready, i.e., Contrast, diagnostic and/or interventional catheters and supplies
Ability to respond effectively to department/patient crisis situations
Able to administrate contrast media effectively and accurately
Understands age-appropriate safety precautions: A. Restraints
Report lab values abnormalities to the physician
Provides Patient Education
Transport patients in a timely manner
Ability to take call and arrive within 30 minutes
Maintains HealthStream education and department education
Attend Code of Conduct training course annually
Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to HCA’s Code of Conduct
Demonstrates conduct that is reflective of THRH’s commitment to HCA’s Code of Conduct
Understands and satisfies the needs of the patient population appropriate to the age of the patient served (adults, geriatric, adolescent, pediatric, and parents of neonates)

Essential Educational/Licensure, Skills and Experience
RT must be registered/licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
BLS certification upon hire and maintained through employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital
ACLS certification obtain within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Valued but Not Required Educational/Licensure, Skills and Experience
Previous medical background as a scrub tech or licensed practical nurse
