Overview The HR Generalist partners closely with the Corporate HRBP team to deliver comprehensive HR support across Corporate functions and select Plant‑based leaders and employees. Serving as a trusted advisor to managers, this role drives and executes key HR programs and initiatives across the employee life cycle, helping to build engagement, support development, and advance organizational success.
Responsibilities
Partner with HRBP’s and COE HR Teams (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Technology & Analytics) to execute HR processes and programs including recruiting and onboarding, culture and engagement, training and development, performance management and employee relations.
Lead or Co‑Lead with the HRBP or other HR Generalists key corporate programs and initiatives such as the Summer Internship Program, First Year Experience Onboarding Program, or Company Recognition Program. Approach with a continuous improvement mindset and flawless execution to increase engagement with team members and deliver value to the business.
Support culture and talent building initiatives and activities such as employee listening surveys and action planning, new leader assimilations, special events, team building activities, functional talent reviews, and development/training sessions or programs.
May provide HR support to select client groups or larger departments within a function. Counsel and advise managers or leaders on HR related matters such as performance management, policy interpretation, communication plans, and employee engagement.
Assist with employee relations, including coordinating or participating in investigations and providing recommendations as needed.
Conduct new hire orientation and check‑ins, facilitate exit interviews, maintain functional org charts, and support compliance activities including HR audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Master’s Degree, PHR or other HR certifications preferred.
3-5 years of previous HR experience, including exposure to a variety of HR disciplines (i.e. recruiting, compensation & benefits, training & development, compliance, etc.).
Demonstrated success leading or co‑leading projects, programs, or initiatives.
Knowledge of change management principles.
Strong initiative, organization, attention to detail and follow through.
Exceptional relationship‑building, interpersonal, and influencing skills; ability to establish trust and credibility with employees and leaders.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
A curious, fast, and eager learner with the ability to adapt and grow.
Working Conditions/Environment Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet.
