Responsibilities
Non‑sterile compounding.
Stocking automated dispensing cabinets.
Preparing unit dose drugs.
Delivering medications to patient care areas.
Checking medication storage areas for outdated medications.
Completing billing duties.
Working in an IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
Qualifications
A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)‑issued Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)‑issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.
High school diploma.
Two years' experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
