We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Scientist
to join our Scientific Affairs team. This role is critical in ensuring the scientific integrity and compliance of our products across global markets. You will lead efforts in evaluating scientific literature, substantiating product claims, and driving innovation through evidence‑based research. Responsibilities include assessing new ingredients and technologies, designing and overseeing clinical trials, and translating scientific findings into actionable insights for commercialization.
Key Responsibilities Scientific Evaluation & Innovation
Assess new products, ingredients, and technologies for scientific validity, regulatory compliance, and potential application across GPN brands and regions.
Monitor emerging science and trends in health and nutrition to identify opportunities for new products or claims.
Claims Development & Compliance
Develop and substantiate product claims in alignment with regulatory standards.
Prepare and maintain scientific dossiers and documentation to support claims and regulatory submissions (e.g., NDI notifications, GRAS assessments).
Analyze and interpret scientific data to create compelling, evidence‑based marketing assets.
Clinical Research Leadership
Design, manage, and implement GPN‑sponsored clinical studies.
Author clinical trial protocols, case report forms, investigator brochures, study reports, and regulatory documentation.
Oversee data analysis and interpretation to support product efficacy and claims substantiation.
Safety & Risk Assessment Conduct safety evaluations for new ingredients and formulations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Consumer Affairs to ensure successful commercialization of products.
Translate complex scientific findings into clear, actionable insights.
External Engagement
Represent GPN at scientific conferences and trade shows.
Foster relationships with academic, industry, and regulatory partners to advance business initiatives.
Education & Qualifications
MS in Exercise Physiology or related field with 5+ years of industry experience OR PhD with 2+ years post‑doctoral or industry experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including scientific analysis and interpretation.
Proven ability to design and manage clinical research studies, including quantitative methods and technology evaluation.
Expertise in FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
