GZA is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to support our environmental consulting practice in Somerset, NJ. As an
Assistant Project Manager , you will work on various environmental projects, including due diligence, site assessment, investigation, and remediation, managing the project lifecycle from proposal to close-out.
You will support projects under the guidance of a company LSRP, Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager, and may manage entry-level professionals. Our success relies on collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Advance projects through remediation following NJDEP requirements and LSRP program.
Manage tasks, teams, and schedules to meet deadlines.
Review and interpret laboratory data.
Write technical reports with data analysis and conclusions.
Prepare health & safety plans and ensure team safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in geology, earth/environmental science, or related field.
LSRP license in good standing or on-track to obtain.
5-8 years of experience in environmental assessments and remediation under NJ regulations.
OSHA 40Hr Hazwoper Certification.
