Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide first assist support in the operating room, including use of Marquet equipment and endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH)
- Participate in call coverage from home during nights and weekends
- Deliver patient care in the ICU floor setting as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams for cardiovascular and thoracic cases
- Maintain advanced certifications and ensure compliance with board requirements
Additional Information
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania required (NLC not accepted)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Not a PRN position; must be available for full-time ongoing coverage
