SR Infrastructure Automation Engineer – Oracle
Join the Oracle team as a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure provisioning processes for a full‑stack SaaS ecosystem using tools such as Chef and Terraform.
Job Description In this role you will develop infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines for on‑premise datacenter and public‑cloud environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with traditional system administration practices to deliver a highly automated provisioning experience.
Eligibility US citizenship
is required due to contractual clearance.
Responsibilities
Develop infrastructure automation capabilities with IaC tools such as Chef and Terraform.
Support and enhance existing scripts and automation with Python, Go, Ruby, and/or Bash.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Contribute to the testing and validation of new technologies.
Assist in the transition between on‑premise and public‑cloud datacenter environments.
Thoroughly document new and existing processes.
Relentlessly pursue standardization and improvement.
Qualifications
5–7 years experience with Chef, Java, and Ruby.
5–7 years experience with Windows Server OS.
5–7 years experience with Oracle Linux.
Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and networking.
Knowledge of server hardware components.
Compensation US: Hiring range from USD $32.84 to $67.88 per hour ($68,300–$141,200 per year). May be eligible for equity.
