Job Overview

The Technology Solutions Expert provides technical solutions and application expertise to customers for all Intelligent Machine Control and Smart Construction products. Partnering with Territory Sales Managers and our Smart Construction Solutions Expert, you will develop long‑term customer relationships, grow IMC and Smart Construction business, and deliver exceptional internal and external customer satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities

Assist the sales team in promoting Komatsu Intelligent Machine Control products, Smart Construction Solutions, and aftermarket machine control offerings.

Actively participate in industry associations, events, and stay informed on competitive activity, products, and market trends.

Support sales with customer product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training.

Communicate regularly with regional Sales and Product Support GMs and Sales Territory Managers to share customer and competitive intelligence.

Sell and perform services such as job‑site GPS localizations, troubleshooting, data conversions, topographic drone surveys, and machine calibrations.

Provide internal training on new IMC and Smart Construction offerings, competitive comparisons, and after‑market products.

Follow all safety rules and policies during work assignments.

Proactively engage in company-sponsored training to advance product knowledge and equipment applications.

Maintain professional relationships with peers, management, and support resources, demonstrating teamwork and customer service.

Perform additional duties as assigned in a professional and efficient manner.

Travel within the area of responsibility, potentially up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications / Requirements

5+ years of experience in construction, mining, or industrial maintenance.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contract administration or equipment maintenance.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Experience with Smart Construction, survey, and/or machine control technologies.

Strong problem‑resolution and solution‑driven mindset.

Prior experience in an OEM dealership environment.

Basic mechanical skills for equipment setup and minor repairs.

Ability to perform data analytics to drive business results.

Schedule and Training Requirements

Approximately 50% travel required.

Five days in‑office per week.

Hiring Range

Base salary range: $70,000 – $80,000, depending on experience and location.
