About the Role Invasystems is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and modern application deployment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and cloud security best practices. This role requires a highly technical professional who can design, automate, optimise, and support scalable cloud environments for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain AWS‑based cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenToFu and AWS CloudFormation.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit.

Ensure cloud security through the use of security scanners such as tfsec and checkov.

Deploy and manage containerised applications using Amazon EKS or ECS.

Drive application modernisation initiatives, migrating legacy applications to modern cloud‑native architectures.

Manage and administer Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat, SUSE) and Windows Server environments.

Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus + Grafana, including writing runbooks and implementing best‑in‑class observability practices.

Automate patching using AWS Systems Manager or Ubuntu Landscape.

Leverage core AWS services such as AppStream, Control Tower, Lambda, ALB, Transit Gateway, VPC Endpoints, Storage Gateway, and more.

Use Python for automation, scripting, and operational tasks.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, stable, and high‑performance cloud environments.

Maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance‑related records.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

4–7 years of hands‑on experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer.

Strong proficiency in Terraform/OpenToFu and CloudFormation (IaC).

Experience with CI/CD tools – GitLab, CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild.

Knowledge of tfsec, checkov, or similar security scanning tools.

Hands‑on experience with Amazon EKS/ECS and container orchestration.

Expertise in Linux and Windows server environments.

Strong understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, and observability architecture.

Experience with patching automation tools (AWS Systems Manager, Landscape).

Proficient in Python for automation and scripting.

Strong understanding of VPC design, networking, security, and AWS foundational services.
