Job Overview Sr. Associate, Product Owner role at Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB). As the Product Owner for Payment Systems, you will gather stakeholder information, translate business requirements into a technical backlog, and guide the team through continuous iterations and ruthless prioritization to launch products from inception to market.

Base pay range $110,000 – $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Lead agile development in close partnership with the Scrum Master.

Draft objectives, key results, strategies and use data to guide product decisions.

Collaborate with stakeholders during visioning and concept development.

Perform discovery to gather requirements and begin further analysis.

Assess value, prioritize stories, epics and themes to maximize value and align with strategy.

Provide backlog management, prioritization, iteration planning and story elaboration.

Ensure the development team understands backlog items and has clarity.

Be responsible for delivery of new features and updates to existing features.

Build and manage the backlog of user stories to achieve the business roadmap.

Prioritize activities considering user needs, IT constraints and external partner relationships.

Continuously improve the product to enhance the customer experience.

Inform and influence stakeholders about progress and solution status, effectively sharing the product vision.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Education, Training, and Experience

Post‑graduate education (MBA or MS) considered an asset.

2–3 years as a Product Owner/Product Manager; product owner/manager certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner) is an asset.

Experience with Agile methodology and tools including Confluence, JIRA.

Experience in Payment or FinTech, including real‑time rail and batch‑based payment systems, is highly desirable.

Experience delivering API products; affinity toward tech products and understanding API‑based products is an advantage.

Fundamental understanding of end‑to‑end customer experience integration and dependencies.

Experience with automation and optimization of operational workflows.
