This position plays a critical role in supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. The role involves leading financial due diligence engagements, analyzing financial data, identifying key deal issues, and delivering insights to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate clients, private equity firms, and lenders. Analyze financial statements and operational data to assess quality of earnings, net working capital, debt-like items, and other key metrics. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, risks, and recommendations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operational advisors. Attend and lead meetings with target companies and stakeholders. Support negotiation processes by providing financial insights and deal structuring advice. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations. Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing coaching and performance feedback. Contribute to business development efforts including proposals and client pitches. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA strongly preferred. 6-10 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or audit. Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and M&A processes. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data rooms and financial modeling tools. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
