Duties
Providing support to senior team members in the origination, structuring, and execution of transactions within the Structured Finance Group, including Middle Market and BSL CLO products, Term ABS, and Private/Bank securitization.
Supporting the origination, structuring, execution, and management of ABCP / Balance Sheet private securitization transactions (new and existing) for bank clients, including: preparing marketing materials, analyzing reporting models and data to provide commentary and recommendations on structural and commercial terms, leveraging information sources to contribute to market trend analysis and structural recommendations, reviewing and commenting on deal-related documentation, and preparing and presenting briefing memos and credit applications to internal decision makers.
Supporting the CLO business, including: providing analysis for client recommendations on structural terms, building and analyzing structures that meet rating agency criteria, coordinating with rating agencies to obtain explicit ratings, working with accounting firms to tie out cash flows, explaining structural features to investors, utilizing Intex Dealmaker to build DMS and CDI files, and constructing cash‑flow models for various securitizations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
Two years of experience in structured finance or a related area, with proficiency in Excel, VBA, Intex Dealmaker, Intex Desktop, structured finance and financial modeling, and quantitative tools that build analytical files and financial structures.
