What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during emergencies or incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access within the location.
Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to those at the facility.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
