We are seeking a detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to manage the company's accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and payroll functions. This role ensures accurate and timely financial operations, supports month-end closings, and maintains compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
This is a full-time, hybrid position located in our Pleasanton Headquarters. We require an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP)
Process and verify vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
Schedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, wires) in accordance with cash flow requirements
Maintain accurate AP aging reports
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Generate customer invoices and ensure timely collections
Apply customer payments and reconcile AR balances
Monitor overdue accounts and communicate with clients for payment follow-up
Maintain accurate AR aging reports
Bank Reconciliations & General Accounting
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Record journal entries and ensure proper account coding
Assist with month-end and year-end closings
Support financial statement preparation and audits
Payroll
Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
Verify timecards, deductions, and employee changes
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor laws
Coordinate with HR on employee benefits, reimbursements, and new hires
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
4–7 years of accounting experience, including AP/AR and payroll
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practicesExperience with QuickBooks, RAMP, or similar ERP/accounting systems
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation
Base pay: $90,000–$120,000 per year + bonus + stock options
