Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 4x10-hour shifts, variable start times (Day : 06 : 30–17 : 00 | Night : 20 : 30–06 : 30)
On-call required (2200–0630); every other weekend rotation
Job Responsibilities Perform a wide range of MRI procedures, including advanced cardiac and pediatric cardiac MRI studies.
Operate MRI scanners and related equipment (GE Discovery 450, GE HDxT 23-Trailer, Siemens Magnetom Sola).
Prepare and administer contrast media safely and in accordance with protocols.
Utilize PACS and Epic charting systems to document and manage patient data.
Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to all facility and departmental procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills Certifications : ARRT MR, ARRT R, or ARMRIT; BLS; Venipuncture,
Experience : Minimum of 2 years as an MRI Technologist, including extensive cardiac MRI experience
Technical Proficiency :
MR Cardiac with and without contrast
MR Cardiac with stress, with and without contrast
Epic charting system experience
Travel experience required
Equipment Knowledge : GE, Siemens MRI systems, Bracco (Medrad) injector, Iradimed patient monitor & IV pump
Work Settings : Pediatric acute care and outpatient environments preferred
Preferred Skills & Experience
Pediatric and cardiac MRI experience (strongly preferred)
Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience
Experience with advanced MRI techniques including MRA, MRV, perfusion, spectroscopy, diffusion, and post-processing methods
