– We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java technologies and modern backend architecture. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable services using widely adopted frameworks and tools.
Backend Developer Sr. – Role Overview BACKEND DEVELOPER-4 to 5 years
TAMPA FLORIDA-HYBRID ROLE
Salary of $105K
Core Technical Proficiencies
Java (8 and 17+) with Spring Boot and Spring Framework modules: Web, Data JPA, Security
RESTful and GraphQL API development following clean architecture principles
Hibernate/JPA for ORM and efficient data access (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Integration with third-party APIs, messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching solutions (Redis, Ehcache)
Exception handling, structured logging (SLF4J, Logback), and secure authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
Containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Unit and integration testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Spring Test
Build tools and version control: Maven/Gradle, Git; API documentation via Swagger/OpenAPI
Strong understanding of Core Java concepts: OOP, Collections, Streams, and Concurrency
Preferred Additional Skills
Experience with JSP, Servlets, and JSTL for dynamic web interfaces
Familiarity with the Codename One framework for cross-platform mobile development
