Salary Guide:
£45,000.00 – £50,000 Plus Car/Allowance and Excellent Package
The Role: Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry, delivering a significant portion of Severn Trent Water’s AMP7/AMP8 programme of clean and wastewater non-infrastructure projects throughout the Midlands.
They are seeking to recruit two Quality Advisors for their SHEQ team, based in the Severn Trent Water region. You will provide on-site support to construction projects and report to the Regional Head of SHEQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and execute the internal quality audit programme, in collaboration with the Regional Quality Lead.
Support the region to ensure all quality project documentation is completed and retained according to company procedures, legal standards, and client requirements.
Monitor and support onsite quality installation standards in line with company and client expectations.
Assist in managing the Integrated Management System to implement a Lean approach, including maintaining and developing the system, processes, forms, guidance, and other documentation.
Conduct quality investigations and root cause analyses to implement effective corrective actions.
Support the SHEQ team in producing communications, training, and delivering classroom training on quality topics.
Provide support on quality issues across all business areas, with assistance from the SHEQ team as needed, promoting understanding of IMS and its benefits.
Foster a positive quality culture and facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the business.
Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach, providing open and honest feedback.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Internal QMS Auditor (IRQA)
Previous Quality Advisor experience
Background in the water/wastewater industry (preferred)
EUSR SHEA Water card
Ability to drive within the Severn Trent Water region
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
