Travel MRI Tech - $2,512 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 3-5 years in MRI License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Must-Have: Experience with the specified patient types. Experience with GE and Siemens equipment. Proficiency in EPIC and McKesson PACS systems. Experience operating GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, and Siemens Magentom Skyra. Description: This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Magnet Designation. It is also designated as a Primary Stroke Center with 933 beds. COVID vaccination is required for employment. The imaging unit has 6 scanners, currently operating 5 scanners. Weekly patient census ranges from 250-300. Patients may include outpatient and inpatient, as well as emergency department cases. Experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, and sedated patients is preferred. The patient-to-technologist ratio is 1:1. A lead tech/coordinator and imaging assistants will provide support on the unit. Travelers are never alone while performing their duties. There will be a maximum of one weekend rotation in every three weekends. Time off will require nursing management approval. Mandatory on-call shifts are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday nights. Back-up on call is required on Saturdays and Sundays during the day shift. Response time for on-call duties is expected to be 30 minutes. Holiday work expectations will be based on unit needs.
