Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol Driver

Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide excellent customer service and communication to all individuals onsite. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site access requirements.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as directed.
Assist with security‑related procedures during drills, evacuations, or other emergency response activities as required by location protocols.
Document all patrol activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is required.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
