Travel CT Tech - $2,602 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2-3 years required License: ARRT-CT Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: General CT experience from a hospital setting. Experience with the specified patient types. Experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred). Description: Performs basic and intermediate computed tomography (CT) procedures under the direction of the Radiologist. The department has 5 scanners. Will accept first-time travelers. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases, with some pediatric experience, approximately 2-3 a month, usually teenagers. Common procedures include general anatomy scans, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head scans. Procedural duties may include biopsies and drains. Patient ratios are 1:1. Support on the unit includes other CT technologists, Radiology RNs, RRT, and the Code Blue team. The charting system used is EPIC. There is no floating to other areas. There is no weekend rotation or on-call requirement. Holiday expectations include 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. Staff cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts due to fatigue policy. Scrub color is flexible, excluding camouflage or denim.aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
