Petroleum Supply Specialist in Grand Rapids
Job Description You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining a dependable fuel supply for the U.S. Army. Your responsibilities include overseeing the reception, storage, and distribution of bulk and packaged petroleum-based products. You will manage fuel usage, refuel a variety of vehicles and aircraft, and ensure safe transportation and handling of petroleum commodities. The role also involves assembling refueling systems, conducting quality assurance checks, and managing fuel supplies from multiple sources.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder, Age 17–34 years
High School Diploma or GED
No major law violations; meets tattoo guidelines; no significant medical concerns
ASVAB score: 85 for Clerical (CL) or Operators & Food (OF)
U.S. Army e‑EOO statement: All qualified applicants will receive equal opportunity in employment

10 weeks Basic Training
10 weeks Advanced Individual Training
31 Nationally Recognized Certifications available
31‑week paid training program for bulk fueling systems operations, fuel system maintenance, fuel accountability, forecasting, fuel distribution, bulk fuel distribution, petroleum storage, packaged petroleum logistics, petroleum shipment, environmental regulation compliance, hazmat compliance, emergency management, technical inspections, and OSHA regulations
