SUMMARY

The Network Administrator is involved in the administration, configuration, implementation, modification, improvement, and day‑to‑day support of credit union network devices as well as troubleshooting/supporting end user systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers network infrastructure systems and assists IT Manager or VP of Information Technology with budget requirements and vendor coordination. Configures, maintains and implements network appliances (routers, switches, firewalls) in accordance with standards. Administers DHCP, DNS, IPAM, AAA and provides Tier II/III support for branch connectivity, remote VPN access, LAN, WAN, firewall, virtual environment, data storage and campus networks. Provides off‑hours support and maintenance of network infrastructure and maintains campus and remote switching environment; maintains private WAN, SDWAN, ADVPN, DMVPN, routing and connectivity. Assists in deployment, troubleshooting and support of user endpoints and data/voice circuit vendors to resolve outages and implement new services. Travels to branch locations to install/maintain equipment or software and prepares technical documentation (deployment guides, troubleshooting guides, systems architecture documents). Administers wireless network infrastructure and telecommunications management, monitoring, maintenance and support of cloud and on‑premise telephony solutions. As directed, deploys new systems/technologies under supervision of the Information Technology Manager or VP of Information Technology. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable. Experience installing and maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN access); associate level understanding of basic network principles required. Telephony (voice and data) experience preferred. Experience with products/vendors: Cisco (routers, switches, firewalls), Fortinet (Firewalls, SDWAN appliances, FortiExtenders), Fortinet ADVPN, Cisco ISE, Cisco DMVPN, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RingCentral telephony environment. CERTIFICATIONS

CCNA or higher (CCNA, CCNA Security) and Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP/NSE4 or greater) required. Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and remain active. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms to reach, climb or balance, and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Noise level is usually moderate.
