Job Overview The Caregiver will report to Health & Wellness Director. The Caregiver is Part-Time, non-exempt, hourly and/or Per-Diem.
Shift Options
Part-Time: 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am
Per-Diem: All Shifts Available
Responsibilities
Assist residents in all aspects of daily life as indicated in the care plan: personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities.
Provide resident care: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding as outlined in care plan.
Maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided during shift.
Report any change of condition immediately to supervisor.
Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
Knowledge and experience working with elderly population; preferred dementia experience.
Physical Abilities
Requires standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, smelling.
Lifting or carrying weight up to 50 lbs, intermittent lifting and supporting residents. Must use proper body mechanics.
