Licensed Escrow Officer Golden Dog Title is seeking a Licensed Escrow Officer to perform advanced duties related to all facets of escrow processing. This position will sit in our Dallas, TX office. The candidate must exercise extreme independent judgment and possess the knowledge and experience necessary to handle any situation that may arise during the escrow process.

Responsibilities

Complete routine residential resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure.

Read and understand title commitments.

Resolve title issues (e.g., corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes, and encroachments).

Understand real estate regulations and guidelines.

Follow company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines.

Coordinate the closing between all parties to the escrow.

Return all calls, voicemails, and e‑mails in a timely manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain cordial relationships with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers, and sellers to promote/solicit business.

Adhere to company policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

Texas State Escrow License required.

Certified notary public in the state of Texas.

High school degree or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years escrow experience required.

Knowledge of SoftPro preferred.

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Physical Demands While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by the job are close vision. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate office equipment such as a computer, copier, and office supplies. In addition, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with their arms and hands, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
