To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

Responsibilities Take a key role in leading and developing the District Nursing (DN) service within WLHSCP, providing expert professional knowledge and advice and ensuring clinical excellence in assessment of care needs, evaluation of care plans and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in partnership with patients and families.

The post holder will work with the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) and appropriate others in the enhancement and strategic development of the existing services as well as the development of any new services based on the needs of the community. They will work collaboratively with statutory and non‑statutory agencies and provide expert professional knowledge.

Requirements This post requires the holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
