HVAC Technician - Ball Memorial (Full Time Days)
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Location:
Muncie, IN
Responsibilities:
Operate, install, troubleshoot, and repair all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration electromechanical equipment and HVAC systems throughout various facilities.
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical, electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical applications.
Apply knowledge of air handling units (AHU’s), freezers, walk-in refrigerators, special room air‑balancing (e.g., isolation and laminar flow systems), laminar flow motor controllers, HEPA filtering requirements, electronic HVAC/VAV boxes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; experience in industrial or commercial maintenance preferred.
Universal CFC certification required.
General knowledge of electrical, electronics, mechanical equipment repair and HVAC systems.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of federal, state, local, OSHA, Joint Commission codes and HVAC hospital codes.
Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Basic computer skills.
