Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Android Mobile Engineer to join a dynamic Application Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that enhance user experience and deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native Android development, modern architecture design, and cross-platform mobile frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle concept, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
Debug and resolve issues to ensure optimal application performance.
Conduct unit and automated testing to ensure robustness and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Implement mobile development best practices with an emphasis on security and data protection.
Required Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience in native mobile app development.
Proven experience in Android development with deep knowledge of the Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Android UI design principles.
Expertise in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
Experience developing and maintaining Android libraries using Gradle/Maven.
Strong understanding of mobile app design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Working knowledge of Unit and Automated Testing (Espresso UI Automation).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Fastlane, Git, or GitLab.
Experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
Collaborative mindset with designers and UX teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
