We are seeking a skilled Employment Defense Attorney to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a unique opportunity where you can apply your experience and skills in a position that is a balanced mix of litigation and advice/counsel!
Responsibilities
Represent employers in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims. Handle all aspects of case management, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and position statements. Advise clients on compliance with California and federal employment laws, workplace policies, and best practices. Attend mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances. Qualifications
10+ years of experience with a strong background in employment defense. JD from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Strong understanding of California labor and employment laws, including FEHA, CFRA, PAGA, and wage and hour regulations.
