*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Montessiri Teacher and teacher assistant to join our loving and nurturing educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori lesson planning and childcare, with experience in private school or daycare settings. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the welfare and development of each child. You will lead a team of educators, ensuring that our curriculum aligns with best practices and supports the diverse needs of our students.
*Duties*
* Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental stages of 3-6 age preschool children.
* Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages communication, collaboration, and respect among students.
* Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance on effective teaching strategies and classroom management.
* Assess children's progress regularly and communicate findings to parents and guardians, ensuring transparency in child welfare.
* Create a safe and inclusive environment that accommodates the needs of all children, including those with special requirements.
* Organize classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
* Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the school community.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
* AMI or AMS accreditations
* Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to early childhood education.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with Montessori principles is highly desirable but not mandatory For assistant position
* A genuine passion for child welfare and early childhood education is crucial for success in this role.
* Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment that fosters learning and growth for all students.
