*Overview:*
A healthcare facility in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced *Echo Sonographer* for a full-time contract position. The role involves floating between inpatient and outpatient cardiology sites (approximately 4 miles apart), performing primarily *adult transthoracic and stress echocardiograms* with occasional neonatal and pediatric studies.

*Echo Sonographer Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform *Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)* and *Stress Echocardiography (Exercise and Dobutamine)*
* Conduct *Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)* as needed
* Perform *Neonatal and Pediatric TTE* (low volume)
* Administer *Ultrasound Enhancing Agents* (e.g., Definity) and conduct *Microcavitation Studies*
* Collaborate with cardiologists and care teams to ensure diagnostic accuracy and quality
* Document all procedures accurately within EMR systems
* Rotate between hospital and outpatient cardiology sites
*Echo Sonographer Qualifications:*
* *BLS (Basic Life Support)* Required
* *RDCS (ARDMS)* or *RCS (CCI)* Required
* *Minimum 2 years* of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer Required
* Experience with *Adult TTE*, *Stress Echo*, and *TEE* Required
* Familiarity with *Neonatal/Pediatric Echocardiography* Preferred
* Proficiency with *Philips IE33*, *Philips Epic*, *Siemens SC2000*, *Mckesson*, *Cerner/Radnet*, *Allscripts*, and *Arcport* Required
