For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on. • Day shift Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM • Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week • Minimum 1 year OR experience required with proficiency in Orthopedics (total joints), General, and OB procedures • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • Must be experienced in special procedures including Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, General, Endoscopy, and Labor and Delivery c-sections • Work with diverse patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Handle daily census of approximately 12 patients with 1:1 patient ratios • Experience required with various surgical procedures including joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, spine surgeries, and urological procedures • Must be proficient with specialized equipment including Hana Table and cell saver technology • 8-hour orientation period provided • Kansas nursing license required at submission • Travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted • May float to different units as needed Facility: This regional medical center provides comprehensive surgical services with a modern 5-room operating suite.
