Big Smiles is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide dental care to underserved children at their schools. The program offers a workday aligned with the school day, with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for working parents and anyone looking to make a difference in dental care.
Responsibilities
Assist during mobile dental clinics
Perform digital X‑ray imaging and chart patient records
Set up, break down, and sterilize equipment
Travel daily to and from school sites
Qualifications
Valid X‑ray license
Digital X‑ray imaging experience
Coronal polishing experience (preferred)
CPR certified
Dental assistant work experience
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, willing to travel
Experience working well with children
Organized, detail‑oriented, able to multi‑task
Team player who can work with a small team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
