Overview Dental Assistant role at Smile Programs (Ohio Dental Outreach). This school-based mobile dental practice provides dental care to underserved children at their schools with a workday aligned to the school day, no nights or weekends. Responsibilities Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics Digital X-ray imaging Patient records charting Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance Travel daily to and from school sites Qualifications X-ray Certification CPR/BLS certification Working experience as a Dental Assistant Digital X-ray imaging experience Valid driver license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel to schools across counties Works well with children Team player and able to work on a small team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for setting up equipment) Benefits and Schedule Evenings, weekends and summers off School-day schedule (about 6–7 hours; typically 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.)
