Position Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
As a Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Honeywell, you will lead the strategy for concurrence engineering across AMR Building Automation ISC (Integrated Supply Chain). This role is critical to the continued success of supply chain and to ensuring we progress the efforts of NPI, ECN and deliver to our customers faster, while also managing the cost of doing so within planned levels. You will establish the overall direction and management for the concurrence engineering roadmaps, and report directly to our Sr Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering who oversees the ISC BA Concurrent Engineering organization. The role is based in El Paso, TX, Northford, CT, or Atlanta, GA on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the Concurrent Engineering and ISC organization by driving Global Design Model governance, operational excellence, and by driving actions/solutions to solve cross‑functional complex problems. Your strategic leadership and expertise will enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive customer satisfaction, directly contributing to our competitive advantage and profitability.
Responsibilities
Ensuring understanding of, and alignment with, business and functional strategic objectives
Collaboration with key stakeholders across the company to drive project and process awareness and engagement
Driving actions and solutions among Design Engineering, AME, Quality, Sourcing, Planning, and Production
Supporting stakeholders to roll out programs, achieve metrics and track milestones
Managing a large portfolio of projects to ensure on‑budget, on‑schedule delivery of operational and financial benefits
Translating the strategic vision of concurrence engineering program into project and execution plans
Leading GDMs development, deployment and compliance at regional level
Ensuring knowledge and best practices are shared and embedded into GDMs
Qualifications You Must Have
Proven track record of leading change in a complex, matrix organization
Strong team leadership and talent development
Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience in supply chain, engineering or manufacturing with increasing responsibility in a complex, multi‑site environment
Proven track record of approaching business challenges from a macro perspective and resolving strategic issues effectively
A strong bias for action with results orientation
We Value
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Multi‑function ISC experience, including experience with HSE, process safety management, quality, manufacturing, project and process engineering, procurement, delivery, inventory, supply chain planning, logistics, and manufacturing transitions
Experience in successful implementation/application of robotics and artificial intelligence within electronic product manufacturing
Experience leading application of AME in NPI processes
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; make sound decisions under pressure and work effectively in a team environment
Capability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
