We're seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to join our team as a Staff RF Engineer. In this role, you'll help drive the development and production of complex multi‑function modules used in high‑reliability applications, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions. What You Will Be Doing

Supporting the development and production of complex multi‑function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.

Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.

Designing and developing circuits, modules, and sub‑systems from initial concept through prototyping and full‑rate production.

Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.

Mentoring less experienced engineers on our team.

Collaborating with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel.

Working with technical and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful product development and production.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Chelmsford, Massachusetts – located approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston. Chelmsford embodies New England charm and offers a unique blend of colonial history, excellent schools, shopping, and dining options.

This position can also be based in Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications

Post Secondary STEM degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.

Experience designing active RF modules, circuits or systems.

Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.

Experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position; therefore you must be a U.S. Citizen.

Desired Skills

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional engineering experience or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including architecture development for RF systems.

Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, exciters, (DREX) microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.

Prior RF design experience is preferred.

Demonstrated experience with microwave simulation tools for RF system design.

Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.

Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.

Experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly (CCA), module, or subassembly level.

Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.

Hands‑on hardware experience.

Familiarity with production and manufacturing environments.

Experience with datalink or T/R module architecture.

Ability to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.

Ability to work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operators on production support.
