Position Overview Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences serves as the academic leader and principal administrative officer of the College of A&S. The Dean is an integral member of the University and actively supports its land and sea grant missions and ensures the College’s goals are aligned with the University’s strategic plan. As a member of the President’s Stewardship Council and the Council of Deans, they collaborate with university leadership and the other academic deans on strategic planning, the advancement of institutional priorities, and ensuring that the University’s mission, vision, and values are upheld.
