Admissions, Records, and Graduation Student Worker The Admissions, Records, and Graduation student worker provides services to OCCC students, staff, and community in the office of Admissions, Records, and Graduation.

Position Information Classification Title – Student Employment Program (FWSP/STEP)

Working Title – Admissions, Records, and Graduation Student Worker

Annual Hours – As needed or assigned, not to exceed 25 hours per week.

Placement Range – $10.00

Position Type – Student Employee

Reports To – Admissions Coordinator>

Requirements

Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours fall/spring or 3 credit hours summer, GPA 2.0 or higher, OR Federal Work Study award.

Positive human relations/customer service skills.

Attention to accuracy and detail.

Critical thinking, research, and problem‑solving.

Team collaboration within Records and Graduation.

Multiple priorities management.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful completion of college credit coursework.

Previous experience working in a community college environment.

Job Duties

Provide students direct access to individual records, transcripts, evaluation of college and high school transcripts, and general student information.

Support a system that evaluates all incoming transcripts and scans documents for immediate viewing.

Produce and distribute IDs for students, faculty, and staff.

Provide vehicle registration and parking decals for new and returning students.

Provide referrals to other student services areas as appropriate.

Answer incoming phone calls.

Provide information referral.

Utilize OCCC website for needed information.

Assist Admissions, Records, and Graduation staff with data entry and auditing as needed.

Abide by the policies and procedures published in the Board of Regents Policies and College Policies & Procedures.

Contribute to a safe educational & working environment.

Adhere to established safety and health procedures and practices.

Complete quarterly health and safety training pursuant to OCCC’s established procedures.

Participate in all applicable OCCC emergency, evacuation, shelter in place drills.
