Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist, the Psychologist-Clinical is responsible for preadmission screenings, inmate evaluations, crisis intervention, individual therapy, discharge planning, interdisciplinary evaluations, and consultations with staff. The role may also involve participation in staff meetings, committees, research, and training. Minimum Qualifications

Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology. Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution meeting Section 2914 of the Medical Board of California. Applicants in the process of obtaining licensure may be considered but must secure a valid license within three years. Unlicensed individuals from outside California may take the exam and work for up to two years until licensure is obtained. Additional Information
