NYU Langone Health . We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Biostatistician. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with the Radiology Research team on statistical analyses, requiring a strong background in applied statistics to perform complex analyses of imaging data. The focus will be on study design, protocol development, statistical analysis, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation, supporting research groups in clinical and basic sciences as directed by leadership. Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
PhD in biostatistics, statistics, or related field with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience. Expert proficiency in responsibilities such as data modeling, study design, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in at least three of the following: R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus, or STATA. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous quality and on-time delivery. Familiarity with medical and imaging concepts and terminology. Experience conducting statistical analyses for research publications and power analyses for project planning. Ability to advise research teams on statistical methodologies and contribute to research design, methods, and publication sections.
