Part-Time Medical Doctor
to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a leading provider of wound care services, we aim to offer quality care to skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal wound care to our patients. The Part-Time Medical Doctor will perform duties including conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing wound care. Work hours are flexible, with morning rounds in the facility, and there are no call, weekend, or hospital rounding responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on wound care needs.
Manage wound care for patients.
Collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure optimal care.
Maintain accurate patient records for effective communication and care coordination.
Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices.
Adhere to ethical and legal healthcare standards.
Requirements
Active medical license.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in wound care management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain detailed patient records.
Willingness to engage in professional development.
