Cyber Underwriting Technician

Overview
This position provides analytical, underwriting, and administrative support to our AmTrust Cyber Underwriting team. Underwriting Technicians work with all members of the team to generate risk management solutions tailored to each client. The role involves implementing policies set by Cyber Underwriting leadership, working on both admitted and non-admitted accounts, and using our internal rating system to produce quotes, binders, and policies. The Underwriting Technician ensures the final delivery of policy documents meets the expectations of AmTrust Cyber Underwriters and external brokers, wholesalers, and agents. The role interacts professionally with internal partners, including the Underwriting and Management teams.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the AmTrust Cyber Submission inbox, review submissions, clear accounts, and confirm clearance to assigned Underwriters. Track and report system requests and alerts within the internal rating system, coordinating solutions with underwriters and brokers of record. Assist with generating agency IDs for new brokers/agents and new office locations across regions. Develop processes to streamline underwriting efficiencies. Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Ability to thrive in a structured corporate environment using organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools. Highly analytical with critical thinking skills.
