We are seeking a skilled Cyber Engineer to fulfill a technical role in support of a Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications program. The selected candidate will focus on patch management solution development, vulnerability management, and the remediation of software, hardware, and firmware vulnerabilities. Requires Top Secret Clearance
Assist with the development of patch management solutions using WSUS and/or Satellite. Develop and test patches to fix vulnerabilities. Analyze and remediate IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations. Install and configure Linux and Windows operating systems up to the application level. Document and verify installation and configuration steps for labs. Develop test plans and procedures for software integration and unit tests. Collaborate with software developers and vendors to diagnose and resolve problems during system integration. Submit problem reports for errors found and coordinate daily integration activities with Cross-Functional Product Teams. Install and unit test Cyber Products such as ESS, ACAS, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc. Provide feedback and documentation to engineers and Cyber Leadership. Document lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards.
Experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting WSUS and/or RHEL Satellite. Experience in Windows or RHEL administrator tasks. Working knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, NIST standards, and RMF governance. Experience in executing Security Hardening on diverse LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with scripting Windows Group Policy Objects. Experience with Ansible, VMware, Arcsight, and Nessus. Experience implementing McAfee Application Change Control and Endpoint Security. Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communication skills. Background in network design and software engineering.
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite in an office setting, offering opportunities for upward movement within a collaborative team-focused environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $62.50/hr.
