Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and maintaining Node.js and/or Java/JEE based web applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment
Design and develop front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
Designing and implementing continuous JavaScript environments using Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc.
Employ DevOps, Automated Testing, and Continuous Delivery using tools like Groovy, Jenkins, Concourse
Build omni-channel user experiences and supporting platforms for digital presence
Develop features from concept to deployment within autonomous, cross-functional teams
Contribute ideas for product improvement, learn new technologies and languages
Resolve technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies
Coordinate delivery of technical components across teams
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
Participate in process-improvement initiatives to maximize team velocity
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent
Experience in architecting and developing multi-tier web and mobile applications, APIs
Experience in developing detailed technical specifications and system architecture
Mentoring engineers, managing technology roadmaps, facilitating collaboration
Proficiency with DevOps, Automated Testing, and Continuous Delivery tools like Groovy, Jenkins, Concourse
Experience with Node.js, NPM, Express
Problem-solving, troubleshooting, API support and maintenance
Experience with Automation Frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor, Cypress)
Advanced Git skills and branching strategies
API Design & Development and Microservice Architecture experience
Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Promises, Observers, Event Loops)
Experience with modern SPA frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
Ability to translate divisional initiatives into business solutions, developing complex software applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting. Actual pay may vary based on education, experience, skills, and other factors.
