Provide Level 3 Help Desk Support & Network Administration. Assist users with computer usage, support IT team members, and recommend procedures for complex technical problems involving hardware, operating systems, and network configurations. Job Responsibilities:
Create tickets for all email/phone support requests outside the ticketing system and maintain SLAs. Manage servers (email, domain, telephony, print, backup), monitor performance, and identify capacity issues. Support network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, UPSs) for LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, and plan capacity needs. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations and processes. Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workstations and peripherals. Ensure network connectivity for servers, workstations, telephony, and other devices. Support remote connectivity and maintain security procedures aligned with NIST standards. Recommend and implement hardware/software upgrades and support VoIP and Hyper-V infrastructure. Administer Active Directory accounts and permissions, support web servers, and handle special projects. Maintain flexible availability, including off-shift hours and up to 25% travel to satellite locations. Job Skills:
Firewall, switch, and router configuration Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox) Hardware and software troubleshooting Knowledge of antivirus, malware, and spyware deployment Active Directory, DNS, and network services expertise Operating system deployment and maintenance Technical support across various user levels Proficiency with Wireshark, Nmap, SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Git, Python Education and Experience:
Degree or certification in Computer Networking Systems or related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant experience and certifications may substitute formal education.
